1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use describe the terms and conditions that govern your use of the current and future online websites, platforms, services, and applications owned or operated by Narrative Intel (the “Site” or “Sites”). You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use when you use any of the Sites, including when you view content, create an account, save articles, or post comments.

(B) Changes to Terms of Use. Narrative Intel may modify these Terms, or any part thereof, or add or remove terms at any time. Modifications will be effective when posted on the Site. Your continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the changes.
(C) Changes to Site. Narrative Intel may update, change, or discontinue any aspect, service, or feature of the Site at any time, including structure, design, content, availability, and compatible devices or software.
(D) Registration. You may register to create a user account (“Your Account”) to access features such as commenting, notifications, and Read Later. Narrative Intel will use information you provide in accordance with the Privacy Policy. You represent that registration information is current, complete, and accurate, and agree to keep it updated. You are solely responsible for protecting your username and password and for all activity under Your Account.
(E) System Requirements. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all devices, connectivity, software, and equipment needed to access the Site and for related charges.
2. User Content and Conduct; Community Guidelines
(A) Interactive Areas. The Site may contain comments and other interactive features (“Interactive Areas”) where you may post text or other materials (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your use of Interactive Areas and use them at your own risk. By submitting User Content, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
(B) Community Guidelines. By submitting User Content or participating in Interactive Areas, you agree not to upload, post, or transmit any User Content that:
- violates or infringes the rights of others, or that defames, harasses, stalks, or threatens others;
- you know to be false, misleading, or inaccurate;
- contains hate speech, bigotry, racism, abuse, vulgarity, or profanity;
- contains or advocates pornography, sexually explicit content, or other obscene material;
- violates any law or advocates illegal, dangerous, or predatory acts;
- advocates violent behavior or poses a reasonable threat to personal or public safety;
- infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, or other proprietary rights;
- is off-topic spam, unsolicited advertising, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
- impersonates any person or entity, including Narrative Intel or its staff;
- interferes with another user’s privacy, or harvests personal data about Site users;
- contains viruses or other harmful components, or attempts to disrupt the Site or its networks;
- uses bots, automation, or other systems to artificially inflate activity or post at inhuman volumes.
Any conduct that, in Narrative Intel’s sole discretion, restricts or inhibits others from using or enjoying the Site is not permitted. Narrative Intel may remove or edit User Content and may suspend or terminate Your Account for any reason.
Narrative Intel does not vouch for the accuracy or credibility of User Content and assumes no liability for actions you take based on User Content. By using Interactive Areas, you assume all associated risks.
(C) Monitoring. Narrative Intel may, but is not obligated to, monitor User Content for compliance with these Terms and applicable law. Narrative Intel may screen, edit, refuse, or remove User Content at any time without notice. You are solely responsible for backup copies of your User Content.
(D) License to User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Narrative Intel a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and otherwise exploit such User Content in any media now known or later developed, without payment to you. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that the User Content does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.
(E) No Obligation. User Content is generally considered non-confidential except as described in the Privacy Policy. Narrative Intel has no obligation to publish, attribute, or retain User Content.
3. Copyright Ownership
The Site contains copyrighted material, trademarks, and other proprietary information. Narrative Intel owns copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of Site content, as well as content original to it. You may not modify, publish, transmit, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content except as expressly permitted by law or written permission from Narrative Intel and any applicable rights holder. Personal, non-commercial viewing for your own use is permitted.
4. Third Party Content
Narrative Intel may distribute content supplied by third parties and users. Opinions, advice, statements, or other information expressed by third parties are those of the respective authors and not of Narrative Intel. Narrative Intel does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content. Under no circumstances will Narrative Intel be liable for loss or damage caused by your reliance on information obtained through the Site. Evaluate information carefully and seek professional advice where appropriate.
5. Advertisements and Promotions
The Site may display advertisements or promotions from third parties. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and those third parties. Narrative Intel is not responsible for such transactions or for any loss or damage arising from them.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty; Limitation of Liability
(A) YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Narrative Intel AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTY AS TO RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SITE OR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT.
(B) THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
(C) CONTENT ON THE SITE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, OR SECURITY ADVICE.
(D) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Narrative Intel SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DIRECT DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100) IN THE AGGREGATE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
(E) WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW, CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE EVENTS GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR SUCH SHORTER OR LONGER PERIOD AS MANDATED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Narrative Intel and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site, Your Account, or your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
8. Termination
Narrative Intel may suspend or terminate these Terms or Your Account at any time, including for conduct considered unacceptable or for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
9. Trademarks
Narrative Intel and related marks used on the Site are owned by Narrative Intel or its licensors. All other trademarks appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners.
10. Governing Law
Except where prohibited by mandatory local law, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to contracts made and performed in the jurisdiction where Narrative Intel operates its primary editorial functions, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive venue for non-arbitrable disputes, subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your place of residence.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
12. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve concerns informally. Where permitted by law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site may be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and class actions may be waived to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer protection laws.
13. Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Narrative Intel agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding, and each waives any right to a jury trial where such waiver is enforceable.
14. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Narrative Intel regarding the Site and supersede prior agreements on that subject. No waiver of any breach shall be a waiver of any subsequent breach. Section headings are for convenience only.
15. Copyright Complaints
If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact Narrative Intel with: (1) a signature of a person authorized to act for the rights owner; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and (6) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner.
